The New York CannaBusiness Chamber of Commerce (NYCBCC) is a non-profit membership organization that was founded in order to foster trade and commerce in the cannabis industry in New York State; to represent the collective interests of its members by proactively interacting with governmental entities, media organizations and the general public to promote the orderly development, expansion and economic vitality of the cannabis industry in New York State; to help establish a financial institution or system that will allow individuals and business entities that are involved in the cannabis industry in New York State to deposit their revenues into financial accounts that are secure and insured; to identify public and private lenders that will provide needed financing to individuals and business entities that are involved in the cannabis industry in New York State – especially those that qualify as minority-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, distressed farmers, and service-related disabled veterans; to ensure that legacy entrepreneurs are able to obtain appropriate cannabis-related licenses; and to help ensure that all the social equity aspects of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act are fully carried out.
